The answer is yes . hormonal changes , hormonal effects are the key reasons for weight loss or weight gain in any individual , fat storage or breakdown are strictly regulated by certain hormones in the body , hormones regulates energy expenditure or number of calories your body burns on a regular basis , for these reasons hormones plays a major role in weight loss or weight gain or fat accumulations at any particular part of body

 

There are certain hormones that are responsible for influencing appetite . metabolism and body fat distribution like Leptin ,Insulin , Oestrogens ,Androgens ,Cortisol (Steroid Hormone) and other growth hormones .

 

Insulin is one of the most important hormones when it comes to weight loss and weight gain. Made by the pancreas, insulin is responsible for storing blood sugar, or utilizing it, depending upon your body’s needs of the moment. After you eat a large meal, a substantial amount of insulin releases itself into the bloodstream. It also enters the bloodstream as needed throughout the day, ensuring that blood sugar levels remain stable.

Cortisol a glucocorticoid (Steroid Hormone) that plays an important role in maintaining stress in your body, however chronically elevated cortisol levels may lead to weight gain

The pituitary gland in our brain produces growth hormone, which influences a person's height and helps build bone and muscle. Growth hormone also affects metabolism (the rate at which we burn kilojoules for energy). Researchers have found that growth hormone levels in people who are obese are lower than in people of normal weight

Hormonal changes are evident in weight loss or weight gain but it can be managed with healthy lifestyle , Exercise , diet , proper guidance (referring to doctor).You might saw lot of individual who is having these issues because of the hormonal changes but they are not doing anything for that , they just took it as a excuse , you can change your body anytime and these hormonal problems can be resolved so don’t take it as a excuse and start living a healthy lifestyle.
